Jonah swinging at the park in our (soon to be) new neighborhood in Arizona. He loves it!

I just realized I forgot to mention that I'm employed! I'm pretty happy with everything about my new workplace. I'll be working at an endocrinology practice in north Scottsdale. It's a nice office and the doc I'm working with seems great. Now it's just a matter of getting through these last two months of school so that I can start.
Kevin's been a different man since we've been back from Arizona. He says he can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. I've been so used to him hating Connecticut for so long that it's really refreshing to see him so happy all the time.
Jonah is doing well. I uploaded a new batch of pictures to Snapfish today and noticed that we take fewer and fewer pictures as he gets older. Part of it is that I've gotten much busier over the past few months, but part of it is that he never sits still anymore! Our son is a man on the move. I turn my back for two seconds and he's ripping pages out of books or pulling movies off the shelf or trying to wedge himself underneath the rocking chair. There's never a dull moment around here!

We were in Arizona an extra day because I got the stomach flu at the same time our flight was supposed to leave. Now it seems Jonah has the same bug. Poor guy. He's sleeping right now; hopefully he'll be feeling a little better when he wakes up. It's been hard on all of us coming back to our tiny apartment in dreary Connecticut, but I think Jonah especially is confused. He doesn't have nearly as much space to crawl and we haven't been outside yet due to rain. I'm sure he's wondering where the miles of carpet and sunshine are.
Some of our Arizona pictures are in two posts below. More can be found here: Arizona Visit.

We're in Phoenix for the week, visiting and trying to set things up for the big move. The weather is beautiful which is a nice change from Connecticut. Everyone is loving meeting Jonah. He' s being his usual charming self and loving all the attention. By the end of the day he's just exhausted, though not so exhausted that he's sleeping any better. I think it must be his teeth. The top ones are coming in and they really look like they hurt.
We went to the Arizona Board of Nursing today to start the application process to transfer our nursing lisences. It's a multi-step annoying process. I asked a few questions about the certification and licensure process for nurse practitioners and the rules out here are significantly different from Connecitcut. It's going to be a few months before I can practice on my own. It's frustrating how drawn-out and complicated the process is and I have to force myself to breathe deeply and take it one little step at a time.
I have my first job interview tomorrow at an endocrinology practice. Wish me luck!
