Grant's Pass

We stayed the night in the cold and smelly Lassan Volcanic Park two nights ago. Yesterday we drove through the Redwood Forest and stopped to briefly explore the giant trees. Then we finally entered Oregon!! Last night we stay in our favorite campsite so far, Cave Creek Campground. There was a nice four mile hike leaving from our campsite. It was empty, so we could let Maddy off her leash, which she always loves. This morning Kevin and I explore the caves at Cave Junction. It was a 90 minute, 526 stairstep journey, but it was really pretty. We haven't decided yet where we're staying tonight. We wanted to make it into Grant's Pass today so we could buy some groceries, do my online class homework, take in some pictures for development and hopefully find a camp chair. We've decided a comfy portable chair is essential to our relaxation in Oregon. Now that Kevin is an expert at packing the car, there's plenty of room.
